Onzo

Ben Pirt, Onzo’s Chief Technology Officer, will be playing an active role in the annual members’ meeting of the ZigBee Alliance, which is taking place in Dublin from 9th to 13th February. Onzo became a Participant in the ZigBee Alliance in October and there are now more than 300 members. Based on the significant momentum of organisations signing up, it can be expected there will be many more ZigBee certified products announced in the course of the year.

ZigBee is the global wireless language, connecting dramatically different devices that work together and enhance everyday life. The ZigBee Alliance is a non-profit association of companies driving development of ZigBee wireless technology. The Alliance promotes world-wide adoption of ZigBee as the leading wirelessly networked, sensing and control standard for use in energy, home, commercial and industrial areas.

Onzo also has a stand at the Smart Energy Forum, which is to be held on 13th February, the last day of the meeting. It brings together, by invitation, decision-makers from the European ZigBee organisation as well as European utilities and energy regulators. We shall be pleased to demonstrate the Onzo ZigBee smart energy enabled display at our stand.
