We are currently working on a number of new services:

Appliance Condition Monitoring

Appliance inference works by identifying the many different energy consuming components of each device.  This makes it possible to spot degradation of performance in any part of an appliance, opening up the possibility for preventative maintenance businesses offering new levels of service contracts without the need for users to purchase smart appliances.

Assisted Living

Monitoring the pattern of appliance usage is a powerful tool for assuring the health and mental condition of individuals living alone, both to detect illness and to help manage patients with early onset dementia.  Onzo’s appliance inference and data analytics bring a new level of information to Assisted Living solutions designed to help an ageing population live independently.

Heating Control

Domestic heating is a major use of energy in most housing stock.  Despite this control systems are still primitive, relying on a single thermostat and basic programming.  Onzo’s analytics allow predictive control of heating to provide managed climate control to suit a building’s occupancy, with improved comfort and significant savings in energy costs for the homeowner.
